We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who likes the outdoors, has excellent communication skills and enjoys meeting people.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers to the nursery
- Provide excellent customer service by looking after customer needs and concerns
- Process sales orders and when needed, help to their cars
* Answering phone calls and dealing with queries or passing information to other departments.
* Managing stock, raising orders and taking in deliveries
* Assist colleagues with that they need
* Assist in organizing sales events or promotions
* Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is a must.
* Previous experience with plants, gardening or nursery work is preferred
* Polite and friendly nature
* Good English is essential
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
* Basic math skills for processing orders and calculating discounts or pricing
We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual who is not afraid of hard work. There will be a physical element to the role. If you love the outdoors and especially have a knowledge of gardening and/or plants, this could be the right place for you.

Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
