Job overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is recruiting a Cervical Screening Provider Lead (CSPL) to provide senior leadership and oversight of the NHS Cervical Screening Programme across our Trust. This is a pivotal role supporting safe, effective and high quality screening services, improving outcomes for women across East London.

The post holder will provide assurance through performance monitoring, audit, incident oversight and structured reporting to Trust governance forums. A core responsibility includes ensuring registration and audit of all invasive cervical cancer cases and maintaining oversight of robust failsafe systems for referrals, results and follow up.

Working closely with clinical leads, commissioners and regional QA teams, you will coordinate Trust responses to SQAS activity, embed learning from incidents, and support the development of clear SOPs and quality management systems.

This role requires excellent leadership, credibility, and the ability to influence across professional and organisational boundaries in a complex multi site environment.

For an informal conversation about the role, please contact Astha Bajoria () to arrange a discussion with Rachael Corser, Group Chief Nurse.
