?? Project Engineer – NEC Contract Experience | Hybrid (Whiteley) | Rail Sector Preferred ??
We are working with a leading infrastructure and signalling client to recruit an experienced Project Engineer with strong NEC contract knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering high-impact engineering projects across the rail sector.
?? Location: Hybrid working with regular travel to Whiteley?? Contract Type: Long-term contract?? Sector: Infrastructure / Rail (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead full lifecycle delivery of engineering projects under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
* Manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
* Oversee contractual processes including early warnings, compensation events, and programme updates.
* Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of designs and documentation.
* Maintain project plans using MS Project, Teamcenter, and CDE platforms.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, technical standards, and NEC obligations.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience managing projects under NEC contracts.
* Background in infrastructure; rail experience highly desirable.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Teamcenter).
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
