Job Description:
As a sporting coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship.
You will also support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This role offers the opportunity to play an active part in the strategic evolution of both championships and contribute to the excellence of the FIA rallying worldwide.
You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, WRC consultants)
* Manage championship registrations and monitor event registrations
* Oversee accreditation process for championships
* Ensure accuracy and compliance of official documents
* Propose improvements to enhance WRC and JWRC visibility
Event Support – JWRC (max 6 events/year):
* Act as FIA Championship coordinator during JWRC events
* Assess on-site conditions and services
* Present post-event reports
* Liaise with stakeholders: ASNs, promoters, organisers, competitors, officials
Delegate Coordination:
* Coordinate communication with FIA delegates and consultants
Reporting:
* Collect reports from FIA officials
* Support governance and regulations
* Assist in WRC Commission meetings
* Draft and follow-up on sporting regulations
* Support FIA seminars and officials’ summit
Championship Calendar Management:
* Monitor and review calendar applications from ASNs
Communication & Website Coordination:
* Publish accurate championship info on fia.com
* Update standings and classifications
Profile:
* Degree in Sports Management or related field
* Strong rallying knowledge
* Experience as co-driver, team coordinator, or event organiser is a plus
* Familiarity with FIA regulations
* Legal and governance knowledge is a plus
* Fluent in English; French or Spanish preferred
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
* Excellent communication skills
* Team-oriented, proactive, organized, detail-oriented
