Monday-Friday 9.00am-2.30pm 36 weeks of the year.
kitchen duties:
Salad Bar preparation
Helping to prepare food and desserts
Checking Use by/Best before dates and rotating food stock.
Making sure Chef have everything she needs before the meal preparation starts.
Clean as you go workstations, equipment, kitchen surfaces.
Washing, peeling preparing food ingredients
Using equipment such as mixer, knives, blender.
Report any equipment or appliances that need repairs.
Ensure the Chef have a safe cooking environment.
Kitchen paperwork
Observe cooking times and correct temperatures
Unloading fresh supplies and organising stockroom, fridge, freezer.
To help and support the chef to deliver the menu meals to the required standard.
Organising for school trips( trip forms, labelling, be aware of allergies and special diets)
To keep the kitchen, food storage and preparation areas clean and tidy.
Contribute in the serving of the food.
