The Role
* Leading and managing the Geography department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and student attainment.
* Designing and overseeing a stimulating curriculum across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level (or IB), ensuring it remains at the forefront of geographical education.
* Mentoring and developing departmental staff through professional learning, peer observations, and collaborative planning.
* Coordinating an extensive co-curricular program, including domestic and international field trips and subject-specific societies.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or extensive experience within the independent sector.
* A strong honors degree in Geography or a related discipline from a reputable university.
* Proven experience as a successful teacher at all Key Stages, with a track record of achieving top grades at GCSE and A-Level.
* Previous leadership experience or a clear readiness to step into a Head of Department role.
