We are supporting an organisation in Central Norwich who are looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join the team until April 2026 as you will be covering a colleague who is on a secondment.
Your new role
In this new temporary purchase ledger job in Norwich, you will be part of the team processing purchase invoices, which will require you to check invoice values, obtain a PO number, request authorisation for payment from the budget holder and prepare the relevant paperwork for payment. This will require you to use your accurate data-entry processing skills and investigate any supplier queries. Therefore, proven experience in high-volume transactional finance processing is essential along with confidentmunication skills, as you will deal with all levels of stakeholders and external suppliers.
As explained, this is a temporary purchase ledger job until April 2026, and we are looking for someone who can give themitment.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be immediately available and have experience of processing purchase invoices from start to finish, reconciling supplier statements and be confident in dealing with supplier queries.
What you'll get in return
The organisation is based in central Norwich with no car parking and will pay depending on your experience, circa £ per hour, including your holiday pay, and will initially be based on 5-days in the office with potential hybrid working after an initial period.
