We are seeking an experienced and proactive High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support children and young people aged 3–19 within a specialist education setting. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, working 9am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.

Students have a range of autism-related needs, which may include: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Communication and interaction difficulties, Sensory processing differences and Associated learning and emotional regulation needs
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support targeted interventions and small groups
* Assist with planning and delivering adapted learning activities
* Support pupils with emotional regulation and communication strategies
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs
* Experience supporting autistic children or young people is highly desirable
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the school’s location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
