Overview:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Bridgend. The school caters to children and young people aged 3-19 with a variety of additional learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
* Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored learning to students.
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support during lessons and daily routines.
* Encourage students' social, emotional, and academic development.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assist with preparing and adapting learning materials.
* Work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals.
Requirements:
* No formal qualifications required.
* A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic attitude.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
