Mens Knitwear Designer
We’re partnering with a leading global fashion company in search of a talented Mens Knitwear Designer to join their innovative and fast-paced design team.
In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for designing contemporary and trend-led Menswear and Boyswear knitwear collections for high street retail accounts. You'll bring creativity, commercial awareness, and technical expertise to deliver standout ranges that resonate with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth trend research to identify emerging styles, colours, patterns, and silhouettes.
* Translate trend insights into compelling design concepts through mood boards and seasonal ranges tailored to specific customer briefs.
* Present confidently in customer meetings, interpreting and responding to briefs with fresh, innovative ideas.
* Carry out regular market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends and maintain a commercial edge.
* Create detailed and visually striking CAD designs.
* Work closely with Far East factories, sending clear tech packs and maintaining consistent communication throughout the development process.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a mens knitwear design role, ideally within a fast-paced, trend-focused environment.
* A strong understanding of yarns, stitch structures, and garment construction.
* A commercial eye and a passion for fashion-forward design.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
