As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live their best lives. Your days will be dynamic and varied, including social activities like bowling, cinema trips, and shopping, as well as providing practical support with health management. You'll also liaise with health professionals to ensure the individuals you support receive the best possible care.
* Supporting individuals in fun, engaging activities such as bowling, cinema outings, and shopping trips.
* Assisting with daily tasks, including personal care and health management, to help individuals maintain their independence.
* Liaising with health professionals to coordinate appointments and meet medical needs.
* Adapting to the changing needs of individuals by providing personalized care and support plans.
* Building confidence and promoting social engagement to enhance overall well-being.

Key Skills and Qualities

* Experience in social care or support work is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
