An exciting opportunity to join the Product Development team within the UK’s leading Fire and Carbon Monoxide protection company, leading the way in home life safety. The successful applicant will become a member of the Product Development team and assist with all aspects of product development for the UK market, working closely with Engineering, R&D, and software teams.

Specific Job Skills:
* Previous experience in a product development or technical role is desirable.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
* Experience with Microsoft Teams, Jira, Trello, Sage ERP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and PIM systems is desirable; full training will be provided.
* Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in delivering physical and virtual presentations.
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and software teams on new product development.
2. Test prototypes and provide feedback to development teams.
3. Generate new product ideas and contribute to improving existing products.
4. Understand customer needs through building relationships.
5. Conduct market research for current and future products.
6. Develop a comprehensive technical understanding of product fundamentals.
7. Maintain and update the PIM system for accurate product data.
8. Issue product change notifications.
9. Support new product introductions, including internal education and data integration.
10. Provide technical support internally for escalated cases.
11. Assist with overflow technical support calls.
