About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a small private clinic in Oldbury, West Midlands. This role is ideal for a confident vet who thrives in emergency and out-of-hours environments and is comfortable working independently during night shifts.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday
8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality veterinary care during night shifts
* Handle emergency and critical care cases
* Deliver out-of-hours consultations and treatments
* Monitor and care for hospitalised patients overnight
* Make confident clinical decisions independently
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements
* Qualified Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS registered)
* Proven experience in emergency and out-of-hours care
* Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently and under pressure
* Excellent communication and decision-making skills
