Benefits: Up to 33 days paid annual leave / Company Pension / Free Life Assurance / Training and Development / Discounted Private Health Care Scheme / Discounted Gym Membership / Uniform Provided / Opportunity to Work OvertimeThe Electricianwill be:Suitably experienced in the delivery of all aspects of electrical installation works for large commercial installations.Work either as part of a maintenance team for larger installations under the instruction of a local site supervisor or work independently on minor works projects without local supervision.Be a team member by being a part of the emergency on call rotaHave the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteousand professional in your dealings at all times.Have sufficient knowledge of the current IET wiring regulations ensuring all works meet the requirements of the current IETwiring regulations.Undertake a range of installation and completion tasks including but not limited to single and three phase low voltage distribution cabling and equipment, steel & PVC trunking/tray/conduit containment, final circuit cabling, second fix final termination of wiring accessories, data networking, HVAC controls, fault finding, inspection & testing.Undertake a range of electrical planned and reactive maintenance tasks diligently and professionallyUndertake fault finding on various electrical systems such as on lighting and power as well as heating and ventilation systemsAccurate completion and timely submission company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) asrequired per contract.Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with minor worksactivities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adheredHave a sound understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and associated IET guidance documents in relation to best practice and principals.Undertake M&E asset verification exercises for new and existing contractors using our asset management softwareBe part of the out of hours on call rota.This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. Essential
1.C&G Lv 3 2357 or equivalent, having completed a relevant apprenticeship within your trade2.Hold a minimum of 5+ years experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation toplanned, reactive and remedial maintenance3.AM24.18th Edition5.Current Full UK Drivers License6.Registered ECS card7.Experience in planned & reactive maintenance8.Knowledge and experience of fault finding on HVAC equipment9.Will be required to take an enhanced DBS check and National Police Vetting check
