Hours: 36 per week
Week 1 – 7am to 3pm (48‑minute break) • Week 2 – 1pm to 9pm (48‑minute break). Shifts are pro rata and flexible in alignment with Week 1 and Week 2.

Role
We are looking for a Facilities Technician Supervisor to join the team to cover several buildings around New Portobello High School and the Portobello Area.
Responsibilities
* Manage a number of buildings and supervise janitorial staff within the area.
* Lead and coordinate daily facilities operations to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
* Apply auditing processes, deliver good customer service, and solve problems as they arise.
Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in staff supervision (essential).
* Experience in auditing, customer service, and problem solving (preferred).
* Experience with IT equipment and software packages (essential).
* Driving licence (essential).
* This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to satisfactory results from both pre-employment checks.
