We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Lead to join our team at our supported living service in the City of Redcar.

Reporting to the Deputy Manager, the Service Lead will oversee a cluster of support services, ensuring support is tailored to help individuals achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives within their community. The role involves managing two supported living services and a small outreach service in the Manager's absence.

Responsibilities include completing rotas, supervising staff, attending reviews with People We Support, updating support plans and risk assessments, conducting medication and finance audits, and safeguarding support workers with managerial assistance.

The ideal candidate will be creative, a role model for staff, and capable of managing daily service activities. You will lead team meetings, participate in service user reviews, ensure medication procedures and activity timetables are followed, and support on-shift as needed. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.

You will play a key role in assessing service users and developing Person-Centred Plans, facilitating staff participation in their implementation.

Requirements include:

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including sleepovers
* 80% on-shift work and 20% administrative tasks, with potential for 100% on-shift work
* Level 3 in Health and Social Care (driver's license preferred)
* Experience leading a staff team is advantageous

Essential experience includes working with people with learning disabilities in enabling environments, understanding Person-Centred Care principles, and knowledge of needs related to learning disabilities, mental health, complex care, or autism.
