A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Oldham is seeking a Pastoral Cover Officer to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong commitment to student wellbeing, behaviour support, and safeguarding.
The post is to begin in December and is temporary cover but has the potential to be extended.
You would be expected to provide day-to-day pastoral support to the children, acting as a point of contact for students needing emotional and social support. You would be supporting the school’s behaviours and attendance policies. You would also be expected to promote the positive and inclusive environment and ethos of the school.
The perfect candidate is someone who:
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Has an empathetic and proactive approach to support
- Has an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies.
You would be paid around £100-£110 per day depending on experience.
