Founded over 20 years ago by three entrepreneurial women with a passion for beautiful, practical and comfortable homes, OKA is more than a furniture and homeware retailer: it is a love affair with living well.

We inspire people to confidently create a home that reflects their personality, a space where nothing should be too precious or perfect to be enjoyed with family and friends. British-born, today we have 13 stores across the UK an established Interior Design and Trade business, a mail-order service and thriving website.

We know the best work is done by people who enjoy their jobs, so we create a fun and nurturing environment where everyone feels valued and is able to thrive. We are looking for an agile and proactive Content Lead with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit who can help us nurture this company culture.

This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing & Brand, based at our office in Didcot, Oxfordshire. We operate a hybrid working model: three or more days from the office, the remainder of the week from home.

JOB PURPOSE

As creator and curator of all stories about OKA, the position of Content Lead is an exciting opportunity for someone who is confident, curious, intelligent, professional and above all experienced and passionate about the brand. After collaborating on briefs with the channel managers, the Content Lead will steer our content creatives (both in-house and external teams) and oversee the production of content across all marketing communications and channels, bringing the brand to life through seasonal campaigns, product and lifestyle stories as well as OKA expertise. Engaging, relevant, share-worthy content will inspire, interest and reassure our current customers as well as excite and intrigue those new to the brand.

This position requires a proactive individual to drive OKA’s content strategy forward via idea generation and implementation, with an ability to balance commercial priorities with creative vision. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to this role to ensure the most efficient output from cross-functional teams and partners.
