At Butlin’s Splash Waterworld, our lifeguards play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest has a fantastic time while staying safe in the pool and on the flumes. Your Responsibilities
* Ensure Guest Safety: Monitor the pool area vigilantly, especially during busy periods.
* Provide Outstanding Customer Service: Engage with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Organize Poolside Activities: Promote and facilitate fun activities that enhance the guest experience.
* Work Flexibly: Be available for shifts ranging from 24 to 35 hours per week, including weekends.
What We’re Looking For
* Enthusiastic Individuals: You should be able to connect with a diverse range of guests.
* Strong Swimmer: Excellent swimming skills are essential for this role.
* Attention to Detail: Your keen observation skills will help maintain a safe environment.
* Qualifications: A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is required. Previous lifeguard experience is a plus!
Working Conditions
Shifts typically occur between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with occasional extensions until 9:00 PM. Flexibility and reliability are key, as we operate seven days a week. For those relocating for a full-time position, live-in accommodation may be available for candidates over 18.
