We will train you to be part of our dynamic customer-facing building facilities team, providing essential janitorial and cleaning services in our local buildings.
We seek someone who can work well within a small team, independently, and with motivation.
The post holder will perform safety checks, general cleaning, and support energy efficiency at Dalbeattie Learning Campus, Dalbeattie. Responsibilities include health and safety duties, client liaison, and supporting the Lead Occupier.
Flexibility, motivation, approachability, and organizational skills are essential to deliver high-quality building facilities and cleaning services.
Training will be provided in iPad/Microsoft Apps, cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and health and safety.
The role involves 30 hours weekly, 52.14 weeks per year. Exact working hours will be discussed at the interview.
A current driving licence is required unless alternative transport arrangements can be made due to disability.
Additional Information
This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will need to join or update their PVG Scheme membership before employment begins.
Applicants previously residing outside the UK within the last 5 years must provide a police record check from the relevant authorities.
