Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing companionship, personal care, medication support, meal assistance, light cleaning tasks, and supporting clients with their mobility and social activities. You'll work closely with the client to help them live as independently as possible. What is required from you?
* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
* This is a full time role working 36 hours per week to include alternative weekends
A day in the life of a Care Assistant
* Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
* Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
* Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
* Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
* Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
* Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
* Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
