Business Development Manager – Corporate Fleet Solutions (Cars & LCVs)

£60,000 – £65,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Bonus + Car+ Benefits

The Opportunity:


As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of new business growth within the corporate fleet segment (50–500 vehicles) targeting organisations operating mixed fleets of cars and LCVs.


This is a true new business hunting role, where success comes from building a strong pipeline, opening doors, and delivering consultative, high-value solutions that solve real operational and commercial challenges.


You’ll work with senior stakeholders across procurement, fleet, finance, and sustainability, positioning the business as a strategic partner rather than a supplier.


Key Responsibilities:


* Win new corporate fleet business across the UK, focusing on organisations running 50–500 vehicle fleets.
* Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy aligned to high-value, high-potential accounts.
* Build and manage your own robust pipeline, from prospecting through to close.
* Take a consultative approach, understanding customer fleet challenges (cost, compliance, electrification, infrastructure) and delivering tailored solutions.
* Engage and influence key decision-makers including Fleet Managers, Procurement Leads, Finance Directors, and Sustainability Heads.
* Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
* Provide market insight to shape new products, services, and commercial propositions.


What You’ll Bring:


* Proven success in new business sales within Contract hire and vehicle leasing.
* Demonstrable track record of winning corporate fleet customers (50–500 units).
* Strong network and understanding of the UK fleet and mobility landscape.
* A true hunter mentality, comfortable building pipeline from scratch.
* Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and driven to exceed targets.
