Salary: £31,751 - £35,163 (inclusive of local weighting) pro rata

We are looking for someone like you to join our team! The role is part time, 22.2 hours per week (3 days). If we are a good fit for you, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exchequer services.
What will you be doing?
* progress recovery actions ensuring prompt payment of invoices and tracing debtors, including liaising with Legal services and/or external collection agencies.
* maintain debtor accounts ensuring that refunds, credits, cancellations and write-offs are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Ensuring that all Council income is correctly reconciled to the financial system daily.
* produce and despatch all payments, including BACS payments and remittance advices.
About you
* AAT qualification or relevant experience and an excellent working knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations.
* You will need to be accurate and possess excellent communication skills
* the ability to work well under pressure and organise your time efficiently
* experience within a busy administration role within an office environment
* experience using of working within exchequer services, delivering accounts receivable, credit control, income reconciliation and some accounts payable.
