Hours: 40 hours per week (Full Time, All Year Round)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Room Leader to support the management of a nursery room and help lead a team in delivering outstanding childcare.
About the Role
As Deputy Room Leader, you will support the Room Leader in managing the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Room Leader in managing the room and staff team
* Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS
* Monitor childrens development and maintain accurate records
* Act as a key person and support colleagues in their roles
* Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted standards are met
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
* Previous experience in a senior practitioner or room-based role
* Strong xxuwjjq organisational and communication skills
* Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
