Adult Social Worker Community Wellbeing, Hereford
Herefordshire Community Wellbeing Directorate is a welcoming and supportive place to work. We are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated, professionally confident Social Workers who enjoy fast-paced work and have experience working with adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and older adults.
This role involves a variety of adult social work tasks, including Care Act Assessments, support planning using a Strength-Based approach, CHC and s117 work, Section 42 Enquiries, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Community DoLS.

About You
* Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England.
* Hold a Degree, Diploma, C.S.S, or C.Q.S.W in Social Work practice.
* Have awareness of current legislation and guidance impacting adult social care.
* Knowledge of person-centred, strengths-based, outcome-focused assessment, care management, and review.
* Ability to undertake Safeguarding Enquiries with appropriate training and experience.
* Potential to undertake courses in Practice Education, Best Interest Assessment, and/or Approved Mental Health Professional.
* Experience working in partnership with other agencies to ensure safety and support independence.
