You will be working in a fast paced environment for a leading engineering company in Olbury Key Responsibilities As CNC Setter Operator, you will: Set and operate Citizen Sliding Head & Fixed Head CNC lathes (L20s, L32s – including LFV) Set and operate Miyano Fixed Head CNC lathes with Fanuc controls Program CNC machines for new jobs using existing G-code templates Change tips, drills, tools, and inserts to maintain machine performance Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Perform first-off inspections and measure parts using vernier calipers, micrometres, Follow production job card system and maintain production documentation Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow Key Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have: ? Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter, CNC Operator, or Sliding Head Setter ? Strong knowledge of Citizen sliding head or fixed head lathes and Miyano fixed head lathes ? Competence with Fanuc controls and ability to edit and optimise G-code ? Ability to work with tight tolerances across a variety of metals ? Good understanding of precision xxuwjjq engineering and lean manufacturing principles Working Monday – Friday 7.00am – 4.00pm Pay £18-£19.00ph dependent on experience – (Bonus Twice a year ) What We Offer ?
