Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a committed and innovative Computer Science Teacher to join a progressive school in Hathersage. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students in the world of technology and digital innovation from September 2025.
Role Overview:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and up-to-date lessons in programming, computational thinking, and IT literacy. You will foster digital skills and encourage problem-solving, creativity, and curiosity among students across Key Stages.
Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:
* Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Develop students’ understanding of programming languages, algorithms, and digital systems.
* Prepare students for GCSE and/or A-Level assessments.
* Use technology effectively to enhance learning experiences.
* Monitor, assess and report on student progress.
* Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Specialism in Computer Science or related subject.
* Proven experience teaching Computer Science at school level is desirable.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* A full and detailed CV covering the last 10 years, with gaps clearly explained.
