Your new company Our client located in Ipswich has experienced exciting year-on-year growth and due to internal promotion is seeking a commercially astute Accountant to join their team in the job role of Finance Manager. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, key duties include: - Staff management and development - Month-end and year-end reconciliation and close procedures - Assisting with management accounts preparation and analysis - Accounts payable and accounts receivable procedure management - Supporting the annual audit process - Process and procedure review, improvement and implementation - Working with finance and non-finance colleagues to investigate and resolve queries What you'll need to succeed You will be Qualified or Part-Qualified ACCA / ACA/ CIMA (close to qualifying) with management accounts experience, strong systems and IT skills (Advanced Excel) alongside a proactive approach to process and procedure improvements. Staff management experience is highly desirable.
