We’re looking for a driven and creative Head of Sales to lead our sales function, champion business growth, and strengthen our market position across the water industry.
About the Role (Can be remote for right candidate)
This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role suited for a commercially minded individual who thrives on developing new opportunities and driving measurable growth. You will oversee sales across our core portfolio — wastewater treatment systems, MBBR technology, tank builds, hire fleets, and process optimisation solutions — while mentoring a growing sales team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing a dynamic sales strategy aligned with the clients expansion goals.
* Building relationships with utilities, consultants, contractors, and industrial clients within the wastewater and clean water sectors.
* Leading tender submissions, framework negotiations, and partnership opportunities.
* Identifying new product and service avenues to enhance our clients offering in a competitive market.
* Coaching and motivating the sales team to deliver consistent results and pipeline growth.
* Collaborating with operations, technical, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless client experience from inquiry to delivery.
* Representing the client at trade events, conferences, and site visits across the UK.
About You
You’re a confident leader and natural communicator with a “go-getter” mindset. You combine commercial sharpness with technical curiosity and a genuine passion for water innovation. You’re as comfortable developing strategies as you are meeting clients on-site or presenting high-value solutions.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in B2B sales within the water or wastewater industry (essential).
* Strong understanding of wastewater treatment technologies, such as MBBR, filtration, and pumping systems.
* Experience leading sales teams or key account management in an engineering or environmental setting.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and high energy.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
