The Role

Pitch Marketing Group is looking for a mid‑wight designer to join our Creative team, working across new and existing clients, bringing to life our industry‑leading, earned‑first ideation.

This is a hugely exciting time for Pitch, as we march towards our 25th anniversary, continuing to be the UK’s leading creative communications agency which specialises in helping brands win in culture. Oh, and we’re 100% employee‑owned.

Technically, you’ll be an expert with industry‑standard programmes – such as Photoshop and Illustrator – as well as interest and expertise in emerging tools, including AI. You will have a passion for creating content around sport, culture and entertainment. Experience and confidence around video‑editing would be a plus.

Spiritually, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the power of design to bring to life memorable ideas, full of craft and creativity. You will need to be able to design to a brief with the ability to work to deadlines, whilst showing enthusiasm, commitment, and imagination.

The role will report into our Executive Creative Director, but at Pitch we pride ourselves on how the creative team work collaboratively and we look to people of all levels and backgrounds in pushing our work forwards creatively, regardless of job title or tenure. We love creative opportunists with the eye for ideas however big or small.

Salary range: £29,000-£40,000

About you

You’re an advocate for the role of award‑winning, culturally led creative work in driving brand and agency growth. You understand how to create ideas that earn attention, because they are the ideas that really win in culture. You enjoy working closely with strategists to discover killer insights that fuel work people can’t ignore. You’re curious about what’s hot in culture today, tomorrow and next year, seeking creative inspiration from this and spotting opportunities for brands play a meaningful role in culture. You’re just as at home developing tactical ideas for a PR or social brief as you are a through the line Partnerships campaign.

You’re emotionally intelligent, with the ability to balance creating a high‑performance creative culture with the personal development of junior and mid‑weight creatives. You believe a diverse creative team is not just the right thing to do, but a business imperative in order to create work that truly wins with diverse cultures. Whether you’re the loudest voice in the room or a quiet thinker, you bring confidence, gravitas and a way with words that means clients sit up and take notice.

You embody our values of Positive Energy, Progressive Thinking and Unbeatable Togetherness.

Role Requirements

* Ability to design to a high level on Photoshop and Illustrator
* Responsible for creating mock ups and all design for pitches
* Responsible for designing the pitch presentations, using Keynote and PowerPoint
* Be able to adapt your design style depending on the brief
* Must be able to deliver accurate, high‑quality work whilst delivering to deadlines – sometimes with quick turnarounds
* Have an interest in the bigger picture and how the agency’s visual design language can and should evolve
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Support with internal projects e.g. agency marketing, internal design
* Strong eye for design – able to identify strong ideas that people will be passionate about
* Keen interest in design, and creative

About Pitch

Pitch Marketing Group is on a mission to transform how brands engage with people. We do this by helping our clients to win in culture.

Founded in 2002, we led the way as the UK’s first creative comms agency to specialise in sport, entertainment and lifestyle. We are an award‑winning marketing and communications agency with four specialist divisions: PR, Social, Partnerships and Influencer, supported by in‑house strategy, creative and content teams. We work with high profile brands rights holders and media companies including: ASICS, Beats by Dre, EE, Gallagher Insurance, Red Bull, NatWest, Puma, Paddy Power, Sharp’s Brewery, TNT Sports, the Premier League and Tinder.

We have always been fiercely independent and in April 2023 became the first agency in the sports and entertainment sector to become 100% employee‑owned. As a 100% employee‑owned business, we have a real passion for the work we do and our winning culture is powered by three values:

* Positive Energy: We go about our work with a proactive, can‑do attitude that is supportive and productive. We exhibit positive energy through radical candour, kindness, and always being solutions‑oriented.
* Progressive Thinking: Because we only succeed with sharp, curious and open minds, always looking ahead to future opportunities. We are progressive in the way we think about our clients and our business.
* Unbeatable Togetherness: We are at our best when we work together as one team. Taking enjoyment from working in true partnership with our colleagues and clients to achieve a common goal.

In 2025, our winning culture was recognised by being named on Campaign’s ‘Best Places to Work’ list. We have created a vibrant, inclusive and entrepreneurial culture, treating staff as partners who benefit when we achieve success. In addition to the commercial benefits of working for a 100% employee‑owned business, we offer hybrid working hours (3 days in office, 2 at home with Fixed Mondays and Thursdays), a comprehensive benefits package (see Pitch Perks), internal and external training programmes and personal development plans that help our people become their best selves.

We believe that diversity of thought is a business imperative that means we can create culture‑led work that resonates with our clients' diverse audiences. We strive to achieve this by creating a culture of inclusivity, providing equal opportunities and celebrating our differences. We have ambitious DEI targets and a dedicated Talent & DEI Manager, who ensures our policies, processes, training and recruitment contribute to our targets. We work hand in hand with passionate partners including Creative Access, The School of Communications Arts (SCA) and People Like Us to attract and retain the best diverse talent. And we have a Non‑Executive Director, who acts as an independent advisor, holding us all to account and supporting our DEI strategy.
