The Role
* Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 depending on specialism
* Delivering engaging project-based learning experiences
* Supporting pupils with coursework, NEA, and examination preparation
* Promoting creativity, technical skill development, and design thinking
* Ensuring workshop safety and compliance procedures are maintained
* Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted support strategies
* Contributing to departmental improvement planning and curriculum development
* Supporting whole-school academic and enrichment initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Design & Technology or related discipline
* Experience teaching DT at secondary level
* Strong practical workshop skills and health & safety knowledge
* A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes
* A collaborative and proactive approach
