Location
UK preferred; secondary locations include France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
Role Purpose
The Head of Commercial Operations EMEA is responsible for leading Commercial Excellence across the region. This includes setting strategy, enhancing sales force effectiveness, customer engagement, and implementing top-tier commercial systems. The role partners with regional and country leadership to ensure consistent execution, accountability, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Align commercial activities with portfolio and marketing strategies.
* Collaborate with marketing and omnichannel teams to equip sales reps with effective tools.
* Support marketing and sales teams in executing campaigns and optimizing sales force deployment.
* Improve targeting, segmentation, and incentive plans to drive performance.
* Develop and implement sales force training, analytics, and CRM system improvements.
* Embed omnichannel engagement and monitor KPIs across markets.
* Conduct operational audits and advocate for commercial activities at senior levels.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in life sciences, Economics, Math, or related fields; Masters or PhD preferred.
Experience: 7-10 years in pharmaceutical sales management, with 3+ years in sales force effectiveness and CRM systems.
Competencies: Leadership, results-driven, cross-functional influence, excellent communication, multilingual assets, knowledge of ophthalmology is a plus.
