Night Care Support Worker (Female Only)
Location: ST19 (Complex)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Shifts: Night shifts, 12 hours (7:00 pm – 7:00 am), 3 nights per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable female Night Care Support Worker to provide care and support during night hours. The role involves working with individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks, including those with dementia.
You will be required to deliver high-quality care in a safe, supportive environment, ensuring the dignity and wellbeing of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support to service users overnight.
* Assist with manual handling tasks where required.
* Monitor and attend to service users' needs throughout the night.
* Ensure a safe and comfortable environment is maintained.
* Communicate effectively with family members and the wider care team.
* Follow care plans and document any changes or incidents.
Requirements
* Gender: Female only (due to the personal care needs of the service user).
* Driver: Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
* Experience: Previous experience with manual handling and supporting individuals with dementia is required.
* Availability: Must be able to commit to night shifts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7pm – 7am).
* Comfortable working in a household where family members smoke and there is a dog present.
