You’ll play a pivotal role in the commercial success of projects, overseeing contract management, financial performance, and client relationships. Key responsibilities: Administer and manage contracts (NEC, JCT or similar), including variations, extensions, and formal correspondence with Tier 1 contractors Prepare, review, and submit accurate applications for payment in line with contractual terms Monitor and report on project budgets, cashflow, and overall financial performance to senior leadership Lead credit control processes, ensuring timely client payments and managing outstanding balances Support project teams with cost analysis, risk management, and commercial decision-making Provide commercial input during tenders and subcontractor negotiations Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation to support financial and contractual compliance Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to safeguard commercial interests Requirements Proven experience as a Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveyor Background in joinery, fit-out, or construction subcontracting Strong contract knowledge (NEC, JCT) and commercial acumen Skilled in payment applications, cashflow, and financial reporting Confident communicator with excellent negotiation skills Able to manage multiple projects and work independently Benefits What’s in it for you?
