Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House and Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with a strong focus on customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring that the front of house operations run smoothly, from meal preparation to serving customers.
Duties
* Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Assist with meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
* Support catering operations as required, including setting up and clearing dining areas.
* Provide excellent service to customers, taking orders and serving food and beverages efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and address any customer concerns promptly.
* Uphold high standards of culinary presentation and ensure that all dishes meet quality expectations.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with cooking techniques and kitchen experience will be advantageous.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards however training will be given.
* Culinary experience is a plus, particularly in meal preparation and food preparation roles.
