We are seeking a proactive, positive‑minded and enthusiastic individual to join our Planning Team, supporting the coordination and management of production planning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain a Weekly Production Schedule for assigned areas of responsibility.
o South Factory Machine Shop, from cutting lists to cell loadings.
o South Factory Router
o South Factory Paint Cells
o South Factory Assembly Lines
* Understand and highlight capacity issues for the operations management team to resolve.
o Using Capacity Reservation from D365 data.
* Review order book to assess for inventory and upcoming production needs. Promptly coordinate with procurement and operations. Plan and schedule necessary production activities to ensure these needs are met.
o Production Progress and Child stock check reports.
* Manage Subcon demand to ensure material arrives when required to meet Production Plan.
o Issue of Subcon Order book with required delivery schedule.
o Monitor Subcontractor delivery performance and understand capacity versus demand. Work to resolve these issues or communicate to Manager.
* Manage Production Orders to support the production plan.
o Review late and upcoming demands to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
* Monitor and drive required changes to production schedules to ensure that customer ship dates are met.
* Proactively drive the reduction of late lines to customers.
* Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Sales to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
* Participate in the development and implementation of an improved Production Planning system.
* Ensure MRP system is updated and accurate.

The ideal candidate:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience with MRP systems preferred
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, internally and externally
* Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Able to think critically and prioritise workloads effectively
* Confident in liaising and working with multiple teams around the business
