Sector: Facilities Management / Engineering Services ? ??About the Role As Contract Manager, youll be the key operational lead for a national property portfolio, managing a mobile engineering team and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient service delivery. Youll act as the interface between Salisbury Engineering, Compliance, and the client, driving performance and fostering strong relationships. ???Key Responsibilities Lead the operational delivery of M&E services across a national portfolio. Ensure statutory and contract compliance across all sites. Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact. Full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control. Drive team performance, utilisation, and productivity to meet KPIs. Embed Salisburys Health & Safety policy into daily operations. Deliver cultural and compliance training aligned with client and company values. Identify and deliver team training needs and development plans. Provide technical guidance and ensure appropriate specialist support is used when needed. Produce and present management information and performance reports. Lead recruitment, succession planning, and staff development. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and service improvements. Ensure timely submission and accuracy of timesheets and overtime approvals. ?What Were Looking For Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely (essential) NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 technical qualification (desirable) Skills & Experience: Proven experience managing hard services across multiple sites Strong understanding of SFG20 and engineering service delivery Demonstrated P&L and financial control experience Project management and client-facing experience Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills ??
