Hampton Medical Centre is recruiting a Salaried GP (General Practitioner). The role involves 4‑8 sessions a week across surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, repeat prescriptions, and paperwork. The post is salaried at £10,000 to £10,500 per session. About the Candidate
* Fully qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration.
* On the NHSE medical performer list.
* Capable of making autonomous decisions regarding patient care.
About Us
Rapidly growing practice in the Hampton area of Peterborough. High QOF‑achieving, good CQC rating. A training practice supervising GP trainees and medical students. Multidisciplinary team includes clinical pharmacists, care coordinators, social prescriber link worker, assistant GP, and a strong nursing team (ANPs, practice nurse, triage nurse). Management team includes a business manager and a reception manager.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Provide counselling and health education.
* Admit or discharge patients to/from caseload and refer to other care providers as appropriate.
* Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
* Collect data for audit purposes.
* Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, repeat prescriptions.
* Handle related paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
* Assess health‑care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
* Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
* Develop care plans in line with current practice disease‑management protocols.
Qualifications & Essential Skills
* GMC registration.
* Current UK professional registration.
* Disclosure and Barring Service check – subject to Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
