Finniescroft Farm is a place where young people can feel safe, supported, and ready to take their next steps. Set in a semi-rural spot near Lennoxtown, our home offers the space to settle, grow, and build confidence. Whether it is through learning, new experiences, or being part of the community, we focus on helping every child and young person feel valued and ready for what comes next.
đŻ Looking for a job that actually means something?
At CrossReach, every day brings something new â and every moment has the power to change a life.
đŹ Whatâs the role all about?
Youâll be working directly with children whoâve had a tough start in life â helping them feel safe, supported and ready to take on the world again. From making dinner together to beach walks or even just a good chat, youâll be that steady, trusted presence they can rely on.
đĄ Where will you be working?
Our children live in small, homely houses and attend our purpose-built school. It's a calm, caring environment with a strong, supportive team around you. Think less âinstitutionâ, more âfamily home with purpose
đ± Youâll be doing things like...
â Being a key worker for individual children
â Helping with routines, relationships and care plans
â Creating structure and fun â sometimes in the same hour!
â Making memories that really matter
đ What youâll need:
â Experience in care
â HNC Social Care and SVQ Level 3 - or willing to work towards them
â A manual driving licence â adventures await!
â A kind heart and calm head
đĄ Why CrossReach?
Weâre one of Scotlandâs biggest social care charities â but weâre all about the personal touch. Youâll be listened to, supported, and encouraged to grow. Your work matters here â and so do you.
đĄ When you'll be working
The house works to a 3 week rolling rota basis. Generally, this means that you would be working a mixture of early (2pm-10pm) and late (7am-3pm) shifts as well as weekly sleepover shifts, although these can change lightly depending on the needs of the young people at the time. And just so you know, you will receive additional payment for any sleepovers.
