Job Title: Programme Leader
We are excited to announce the creation of a Programme Leader role based at our Boston education centre. This key leadership position involves planning and implementing a high-quality curriculum that prepares learners for their next steps.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure excellent learner outcomes.
2. Supporting learners with appropriate academic and pastoral guidance.
3. Managing the programme team effectively, clarifying roles and supporting staff development.
4. Maintaining a high-standard learning environment with suitable facilities and resources.
5. Collaborating with the Head of Curriculum and Engagement to develop an innovative curriculum tailored to learner and employer needs.
6. Ensuring effective delivery of the curriculum using diverse teaching strategies and resources.
Essential Requirements:
* Knowledge of quality and regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted standards.
* Experience in delivering teaching, learning, and assessment in the Further Education sector; QTS, PGCE, or DET L5 qualification preferred.
* IQA assessor qualification (preferred).
* Contemporary teaching theory and practice knowledge.
* Experience in curriculum design and development.
* Understanding of the FE sector's funding and regulatory frameworks.
* Experience in collaborative working, coaching, and staff development.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and legislation.
* English and mathematics qualifications at Level 2 or above.
* Enhanced DBS clearance for Adults & Children.
