Womenswear Designer
An established fashion brand is looking for a Womenswear Designer to join its growing design team.
While the business currently operates across both menswear and womenswear, the future growth of the brand is expected to come heavily from the womenswear category.
The potential here is significant — and the design team is looking for someone who can help unlock it.
The Role
Working closely with the Senior Womenswear Designer, this role will contribute across the full womenswear product offering.
Initially the role will be multi-product, with exposure across several categories including:
* Jersey
* Knitwear
* Wovens
* Co-ords and outfit builds
Over time the role may naturally evolve into a category focus, but the immediate need is for a designer who is versatile and comfortable working across multiple areas.
The goal is to build a womenswear offer that feels modern, wearable and commercially strong, while continuing to evolve the brand’s aesthetic.
What Success Looks Like
Womenswear currently represents around half of the business, but the ambition is to grow this to 65–70% over time.
Success in this role will include:
* Expanding the depth and diversity of the womenswear product
* Bringing new ideas beyond core jersey pieces
* Developing strong outfit-led collections
* Contributing to the long-term direction of the category
There is real opportunity here to help shape what womenswear becomes for the brand.
The Person
They are looking for someone who lives and breathes womenswear fashion.
Someone who:
* Has experience designing within a fashion brand environment
* Has a strong trend awareness and fashion instinct
* Understands how to translate trend into commercial product
* Has genuine passion for the category — someone who would wear the product themselves
The team environment is energetic, fast-moving and ambitious. The right designer will be someone who thrives in that atmosphere and is willing to put in the work to build something special.
