Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Kettering Reports to: Plant Quality Laboratory Manager Salary: £31,626.90 (during probation), increasing to £32,076.24 post-probation Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract Working Hours: Thursday–Sunday (working on Saturday and Sunday is required as part of weekend cover), with flexibility for remaining days worked in the week i.e Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in maintaining the safety and quality of products through routine testing. You will work closely with different teams to ensure products meet the highest standards before reaching customers. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control: Perform sampling and analysis (protein, pH, calcium, ATP, etc.) of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products. Follow all quality and food safety procedures, including water and packaging inspections. Documentation & Reporting: Record results using SAP, Excel, and LIMS.
