Careermakers Recruitment are looking for a Groundworker for our ever-growing client based in the heart of Normanton, WF6.
This position does not involve cleaning toilets, offices, or welfare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out groundwork, including digging, concreting, and site preparation.
* Assist with the installation of signage and supporting structures on-site.
* Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
* Follow site plans and installation instructions accurately.
* Work closely with team members to ensure projects run smoothly.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in groundwork or construction is desirable.
* Practical, hands-on approach to work.
* Willingness to travel and stay away overnight when required.
* Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
* Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
* CPCS card preferred, but not essential.
* CSCS card required.
Working hours:
* Monday to Friday (Monday - Thursday:7am 3:30pm/1pm - 10pm & Friday:9am - 1pm)
Pay rate:
* £14 per hour
