We are delighted to be recruiting for an Audit Senior to join a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA / ACCA professional looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
The Audit Senior Role
* You will play a key part in the delivery of audit and assurance services for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients across different industries.
* Lead audit fieldwork and perform substantive and analytical testing
* Plan and complete audit assignments, ensuring files are fully documented for review
* Prepare statutory financial statements under UK GAAP / IFRS
* Identify risk areas and flag matters of concern to Managers and Partners
* Build client relationships and provide a high-quality service
* Support, coach and mentor junior team member
About You
* ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
* Experience working in audit within a UK accountancy practice
* Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
* A collaborative team player with good communication skills
* Enjoys building client relationships and supporting junior colleagues
