New Business Development Manager – Toys & Hobbies

UK & Ireland (field-based, national travel)

We're distributors of high quality toy and hobby products from some of the world's leading brands. With strong existing retail partnerships across the UK and Ireland, we're looking for an experienced and driven new business professional to win major new retail accounts. From national chains to high potential independents, spanning sectors like
toy and hobby retailers, gift stores, bookshops, garden centres and other multi-site retailers.
The Role:
* Win new retail accounts through targeted prospecting and outreach
* Focus on national/multi-site retailers plus key independents
* Manage new accounts for 6-9 months to onboard, then hand over to account managers
* Build and execute a retail acquisition plan with the Commercial Director
* Attend trade shows, events, and face-to-face buyer meetings
About You:
* Proven track record in
new business field sales
(toys, gifts, hobbies, or similar consumer goods preferred)
* Tenacious, proactive and self-motivated - thrives on opening doors
* Confident selling to senior retail buyers and decision makers
* Able to work independently and manage your own pipeline
* UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
What We Offer
* £40,000 base + uncapped commission (OTE £70,000–£100,000+)
