As a Pharmacist at our hospital, you'll be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and you'll have proven post-qualification experience. It's also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you'll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for optimising medication therapy and promoting safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug use within the hospital. The role involves direct patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve treatment outcomes and minimise medication-related problems. As a Pharmacist, you will: Join our talented multidisciplinary team Be the trusted Medicines Management Lead for our hospital Deliver high-quality clinical care and advice where it's needed Offer services to a range of departments, including the pre-assessment clinic, outpatient department, ward and theatres Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings Educate patients on the proper use of prescribed medications Conduct medication reconciliation and drug utilization reviews Document clinical interventions and outcomes Provide drug information and training to healthcare staff and patients Ensure compliance with hospital policies, national regulations, and accreditation standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medication safety programs Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors As a Pharmacist, you will have: Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and disease management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Helping you feel good.
