Agilis Search are partnering with an established, culture focused business in Ipswich who are looking for a Facilities Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
This role is responsible for managing multiple office buildings ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with all regulations. The position oversees building maintenance, health and safety, and relationships with third-party contractors, while leading a small facilities team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
The day-to-day:
* Planned and reactive maintenance.
* Ensuring buildings meet safety, accessibility, and compliance standards.
* Managing health and safety documentation, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across all sites.
* Leading and supporting the facilities team, manage performance, and build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
* Budget management, procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor performance.
* Overseeing property leases, liaise with landlords and legal advisors, and ensure lease compliance.
* Manage supplies, logistics, and postal services across locations.
This is a hands-on position that also involves leading projects, supporting sustainability and contributing to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
