About the Role
Career Teachers is partnering with an SEND School in Leicester to recruit a motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves working 1:1 with students, primarily those with Autism, supporting their educational and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities
* Act as a positive role model and manage behavior effectively.
* Create and maintain a safe, child-centered learning environment.
* Promote inclusion and acceptance among pupils.
* Understand and assist in implementing Individual Education Plans and Behavior Support Plans under the guidance of the teacher.
* Support the class teacher with planning, monitoring, and delivering creative lessons.
Key Skills and Experience
* Essential: SEN experience, preferably with students with Autism.
* Previous support work within a school or child-related experience.
* Strong behavior management skills.
* Professional demeanor.
* Enthusiastic, positive, and friendly approach.
* Team Teach training is advantageous but not required.
