Pay: £92.63 per day
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday (Term time only – approximately 12 weeks off per year)

About the Role
You will be working within a specialist resource base class of up to 10 children with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism, ADHD, and Global Development Delay. You will be part of a supportive team of 5 staff members.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting children with fine and gross motor skill development
* Delivering sensory-based activities
* Using communication sheets and basic Makaton
* Supporting language development using various communication strategies
* Assisting with basic care needs
* Supporting outdoor play and structured activities
* Ensuring pupils remain engaged, calm, and supported throughout the day
* Understanding and responding to each child’s individual needs

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be:
* Calm, patient, and nurturing
* Knowledgeable or experienced in supporting children with ALN
* Experienced in working with children (desirable)
* Able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
* A strong communicator
* Reliable and consistent, as stability is key for the children

Requirements
* Available full-time from September
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
* Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to apply through us)
