Senior Environmental Advisor
Location: Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will implement Telent's Sustainability Strategy and support Business Units in meeting waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel.
What you’ll do:
* Provide specialist guidance and advice to EHS teams and project leads on environment and sustainability requirements.
* Support risk management by establishing an environmental assurance regime, including audits.
* Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
* Maintain performance data and generate carbon management reports for stakeholders.
* Review environmental aspects and impacts regularly, including climate change risks.
* Support project teams to embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout project lifecycles.
Who you are:
Experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within relevant industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum Qualification: PIEMA
* ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
* Experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice.
* Track record of reducing environmental impacts of equipment and infrastructure.
* Experience managing complex technical and change projects.
* Full driving license and flexibility for UK-wide travel.
